The Elizabeth Love Museum is open most weekends, 10am–4pm, for booked guided tours. Each tour lasts about one hour and 30 minutes, we welcome up to eight visitors per tour.

Admission: £8.00 per person

Due to the delicate nature of the collection, we’re unable to accommodate children under 12 or animals.

Parking

Pontefract Castle has a free car park located behind the castle, accessible via the postcode WF8 2JF, with limited spaces that can fill up quickly.

Accessibility

Please note: access to upper and lower floors is via steep, narrow staircases and may be difficult for some visitors. The Trustees are working towards improved accessibility.

Winter (Oct–Mar): 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00

Our volunteers are happy to arrange midweek or alternative times for groups of four or more. Please use our contact page to discuss further.

No smoking or vaping anywhere in the museum.
